Top 10 Reasons Not to Enable End Users in a New System

10) We like to surprise our employees to ‘keep them on their toes’

9) It’s better if they just experiment so they ‘buy-in’ to using it

8) The vendor said that their system is the most intuitive and easy to use in the world

7) They’re all really, really smart people

6) Most of our staff can barely find the ‘on’ button for their PCs

5) Our support desk is operating under capacity and could do with some call spikes

4) We don’t really have any SOPs or best practices anyway

3) Because $1m on just the software and technical implementation services is more than enough to spend on this project

2) We’re downsizing soon, so why bother?

1) The new system went live last month?
